developing story this afternoon out of pickens county. deputies say an arrest has been made in connection with a woman's death after her body was found on a boat ramp over the weekend. myra ruiz is live and local in pickens county. myra: today, this aerosol is a little bit more about what investigators learned and how they found the suspect. he tells as investigators were at an apartment complex in greenville county last night when they found the vehicle that belonged to the victim. this is her dark-colored doge charger -- dodge charger when the man who is accused of killing her showed up. is 22 years old and from greenville. is charged with murder, grand larceny in connection with the during a violent crime. at least two other individuals

this race. tracie potts, nbc news, washington. allyson: continuing coverage now of the reported shooting at columbiana centre mall in columbia. police now say it may not have involved any gunshots at all. police say they haven't found any shell casings and witnesses are no longer confident about their stories. authorities say they found a book bag in the woods with air soft guns, which shoot plastic pellets. police are seeking more surveillance video from stores. no one was injured in the incident. greer police want to identify two people they believe are connected to a shooting there. officers say a man was shot in the head monday afternoon at oakland place apartments. they say the man was sitting in a parked car at the complex and was taken to greer memorial hospitalaly his cousin. police say he was transferred to greenville memorial and his injuries are not life threatening. the controversial west end quik trip is one step closer to becoming a reality. last night, the greenville city

allyson: the man accused of in michigan is being held without bond. jason dalton is charged with six bail. the prosecutor says dalton admitted his involvement in the incident. police believe dalton shot eight people at an apartment complex, restaurant, and car dealership in kalamazoo saturday night. six of those people died in the shootings. so far, no motive has been determined, and officials have not found a connection between dalton and the victims. if convicted, dalton could be sentenced to life in prison. apple's supporters are planning a protest against the fbi today. supporters are expected to demonstrate in 50 different apple stores across the u.s. at 5:00 this afternoon. this comes after a judge ordered apple to help hack into an bernardino shooters. so far, apple has resisted. victims and affected families

today through their attorney, filing a brief of support for the department of justice. carolina, voted to add to the city's non-discrimination ordinance expanding rights for people. the new measures will prevent public businesses from discriminating based on sexual orientation gender identity and marital status. a hot topic in the proposal's debate, transgender people now have the right to choose which public bathroom to use based on their gender identity. a similar ordinance expansion was shot down last year. happening later today, seneca officials are expected to discuss a request to remove a memorial cross on city property. this cross was built into a stone wall along a patio outside seneca's water treatment plant. it's to memorialize chuck keeler, a worker who fell while helping to build the plant. the freedom from religion foundation says the memorial should be religiously neutral. keeler's daughter says the fight

here is the big blow that will be drawing up moisture from the gulf. it will be moving eastward and impacting the southeast by late tonight and early tomorrow morning. we will see some thunderstorms developing and working across the area. severe thunderstorms can get 60 mile-per-hour wind gusts. toehold in a short amount of time -- toppled trees and a time and a possible tornado. we are starting to see the action in northeastern georgia. starting to work into the piedmont. we see heavy downpours by 9:00 tonight for a good bit of the overnight. rain. looking at 3:00 or 4:00 t torrow thunderstorms. here comes the severe weather potential between 6:00 and 8:00 tomorrow morning marching across

look at the stocks this afternoon, the dow, nasdaq, and s&p 500 are all down. new jobs are headed to henderson county. 350 of them. g.f. linamar plans to build a brand new manufacturing facility there. north carolina governor pat mccrory was on hand for the announcement yesterday. g.f. linamar manufactures car parts. two development projects are one step closer to coming to downtown spartanburg. spartanburg city council approved first reading of a plan that would sell two pieces of city-owned land to developers for a dollar each. the plan has to undergo one more reading. one developer is proposing retail space and 30 apartments at the corner of daniel morgan and west main. another developer is proposing 50,000 square feet of office space in the area behind the george dean johnson school of business. starbucks is changing the way customers earn loyalty rewards. currently, starbucks customers earn one star per purchase and may redeem 12 stars for a free food and drink item. under the new program, which starts in mid-april, customers
