making a last push in a campaign full of surprises. the latest from the fbi clearing clinton again. fbi director james comey now telling congressional leaders based on our review, we have not changed our conclusions that we expressed in july. sources telling abc that the new batch of e-mails claimed duplicates that the fbi lur reviewed. the new details were disskoefrd now outrajd again. >> right now, she's being protected by a rigged system. >> reporter: clinton's campaign saying they're glad the matter is resolved. no public comment from the candidate. she's wrapping up a weekend of star-studded campaigning and declaring what is is at stake. >> it is a choice between division or unity.

>> the october surprise has met its november surprise. a surprise flert the fbi director that suggests that the e-mail probe he said would be opened a few days ago, now closed again. the clinton campaign saying it gives her a clean bill of legal health. the bottom line here is this clears the deck for hillary clinton. if she's able to close the campaign the way she whether it's lebron james or bruce springsteen or jon bon jovi, she was hoping to make the election the focus. donald trump will be scattered around the states to make up whoever ground he has. the momentum back with hillary clinton supporters. she's once again established as the front runner. it's too soon to call the election. clinton seeing a good weekend come out of a very bad stretch.

a stolen car slams into a freeway barrier, ending a police chase in los angeles. officers tailed the mercedes for about an hour sunday night. it sped before crashing into a sand barrier. wow, you see it there. and ending in a huge cloud of debris into the air there. the suspect got out of the car and surrendered to police. we have breaking news now. just in time for election day, it appears philadelphia's transit strike is now over. the city had planned to ask the court for juan-day pause in the strike to allow more voters to get to the polls. that apparently won't be necessary.

is a battleground state. >> and important timing there. a deputy sheriff has been killed in georgia in an ambush following a dispute between neighbors. the peach county sheriff says the ster died and another deputy was injured when an armed resident opened fire on them. they didn't have a chance to return fire. the u.s.-led coalition is now opening a son against isis. forces are approaching raqqa in syria. that battle could force isis to divert forces from mosul and iraq. they're advancing in that city. both ground operations are being supported by coalition air strikes. gas is flowing again in a pipeline on the east coast. colonial pipeline says it will

some of the other big races on the ballot. in virginia-- a close race to keep an eye on.. .. the 10th congressional district. incumbent republican barbara comstock faces democrat luann bennett. now to measures to watch for. the right to work measure is designed to add a section to the virginia constitution that would make it illegal for workplaces to require labor union membership for employees. then there's the property tax exemption. if passed it could provide certain property tax exemptions to surviving spouses of first responders

in fairfax county-- a referendum that would allow a tax on prepared food and beverages, called a "meal tax." in maryland -- many eyes will be on the u-s senate race. incumbent barbara mikulski is retiring after 30 years. that leaves the seat open... and 4 people on the ballot who want to fill it. democrat chris van hollen, and republican kathy szeliga , are looking to take that seat. people in prince george's county will have their eye on the school board races. all five seats are up for grabs. it comes at a time where the school system has been struggling amid fallout from re child abuse allegations and the head start program's loss of federal funding. there are also several bond referendums. the largest one seeks nearly two-hundred million for public works and transportation projects. montgomery county voters also get to decide if council members are limited to serving three terms. in the district: former mayor and city council member vincent gray-- is running for the ward 7 seat. he's up against two independents. gary butler and christian carter. trayon white is running unopposed for ward 8. he is filling the seat

after he died of a drug overdose. d-c will also have to weigh-in on the statehood referendum, which proposes splitting the nation's capital into a new state for residents and a federal district for government buildings and monuments. it would be called "the state of washington d-c." and as millions of people here and across the country prepare to vote tomorrow. for many-- it will also be a paid holiday off from work. general motors is one of many companies that make election day a paid holiday. other companies include ford motor company, square, hearst publishing, patagonia, and digit law requiring workers get time off to vote. many states leave that decision up to individual companies. it's xx and we're just getting started. right now at 430. its the final countdown to election day. the first polls open in just over 24 hours. the candidates hitting the trail
