the attack happened this morning. at ohio state university in columbus, ohio. investigators say officers were on the scene within minutes. one officer opened fire killing the suspect. school officials alerted students. many barricaded themselves within classrooms not knowing what was happening. >> a lot of us went around the corner and started -- and tried to stay away from the window. >> it is heartbreaking and sad and frustrating. >> we are all going to be extremely grateful that we are going to have full recovery. joyce: none of the victims have been officially identified. the attack is being investigated as a possible terror attack and the fbi is involved. toya: abc coverage of the shooting at ohio state

of the presidential election will begin on thursday. toya: they just approved of a timetable. terry sater joins us. there is already a legal challenge. terry: the presidential recount is being requested by green party candidates jill stein and rocky. we just learned that the cost of it will be 3.5 million dollars. it needs to be paid by 4:30 p.m. i just spoke to the green party representative who says they are going to court to have the ballots recounted by hand and not by machine. >> we are paying for this and it is by law that we are doing it. however it comes out, we are prepared to accept it. but we want confidence that the system works. terry: george martin says he wants the recount done by hand saying hackers may have tampered with the machines and the results. the wisconsin election

not buy it. >> to enter the locked cabinet or the software where the memory device is located -- to do that without being undetected would be very difficult. terry: he says the voting machines are not connect it to the internet and there are multiple checks to make sure the machines are working accurately. mark thompson is one of three democrats on the commission. he says he is confident that the recount will show that donald trump still gets electoral votes from the state. >> i fully expect given the history of elections in wisconsin and their accuracy and my trust in my citizens counting these roads that the outcome -- counting these votes that the outcome will not be different. terry: they will begin on thursday and it will need to be completed by december 12 at 8:00. the state needs to deliver the
