new this morning--one person is ?dead?... after a crash in fond du lac county. county.it happened just before six last night... near "oak grove road" in the town of alto.police say... a 57- year-old waupun man ?crossed the center line?... and hit ?another car? head on."flight for life" rushed him to a hospital.we're told he has serious injuries.there were ?three people? in the car he hit--- including a a 23-year-old man who ?died? at the sc man was ?not? wearing a seatbelt.the other two in the car--- a 52-year-old woman... and a 17-year-old have ?serious injuries.? investigators say... alcohol was ?not? a factor. 3 now to a cbs 58 exclusive. the fierce legal battle over brendan dassey is now at a brief standstill. his family hoped he'd be home for thanksgiving... but dassey will remain in jail during his appeal... which could take mont. months.the murder of teresa halbach... and the men convicted for it... gained international attention from

continuing coverage of both cases online at cbs58-dot-com. 3 now to a developing story... newly released pictures show the gruesome aftermath of a deadly officer-involved shooting in wauwatosa. they show the car where jay anderson died ...and it was his own family who released the photos. photos.these are the pictures we can show you on air.busted out windows...glass covering a child's shoes, bullet holes in the head rest...and a lot of blood.anderson's fiance says she had no idea the car w it was.their attorney says it's not uncommon for that to happen-- in fact-- not cleaning it allowed his investigators to collect their own forensic analysis. star delarosa, anderson's fiance (cg in star) 33.11 it was hard cleaning his blood up. to actually have his blood on my hands as i was wiping it off the material, off the seat, off the armrest off the seat belt. it was just .. i cried because that was my best friend " " authorities say anderson had a gun in the car... but attorney jon safran say investigators failed to get pictures of where they claim it was.a

charges against the officer is still under review by the milwaukee county d-a.meanwhile --- the family is still waiting for the rest of jay's belongings to be returned. 3 the name of the wauwatosa officer who shot and killed anderson hasn't officially been released.but he has been connected to a second fatal police shooting.the anderson family attorney says it happened in july 2015-- when a 29-year-old man was shot after confronting police with a sword.the anderson family attorney says it would be worth looking into what the officer did between these shootings..including whether for disability. looking ahead now...a cudahy babysitter-- accused in the "shaken baby death "of a ?six-month old?-- is expected to be in court this morning for a motion hearing. hearing.police say "carrie heller".... was running an unlicensed daycare when the child died in her care.. earlier this yearshe faces ?first degree reckless homicide.?police say... she admitted to shaking the baby before the infant stopped breathing. the baby had ?severe brain injury? as a result. a ?violent attack? in milwaukee.now the victim's family says... it's because

advances.milwaukee police say... the woman was ?walking to a bus stop? at teutonia and keefe" sunday morning.the victim's sister says... the man punched her to the ground... and kicked her several tiimes.she also says... this was the ?third time?... the woman has been assaulted. t's frustrating. it's scary. my sister, her only means of transportation is the city bus. so to know that she's traumatized and feels like she can't leave her homeit's frustrating. and it scares me. 3 family members ?and? city officials... are now asking anyone who has information on this case... to come forward. wisconsin hunters took in about 75-hundred ?fewer? deer on opening day of the state's gun-deer season... compared to last year. hunters killed more than 68-thousand deer saturday. more than 12-thousand of those were killed in the northern part of the state... where the deer herd is recovering from harsh winters.about 17-thousand fewer hunters purchased licenses this year. 3 milwaukee county is investing
