Overview
CardView 3.1 for Windows 3.1 is a user-friendly
graphical interface that operates as a PCMCIA Compliant
Card Services Client. It enables users to access and
customize their PCMCIA subsystem through a menu-driven
interface. As with most Windows applications, users may
use the point and click approach with a mouse or
keyboard strokes designated by the highlighted key to
operate the CardView application.
With CardView for Windows, the user is notified of
status changes of PC Cards in the system. For example,
the user is notified when a card is inserted into or
removed from a slot, and when a configuration conflict
is detected. CardView also provides detailed
information about these cards (e.g., name of card
vendor, type of card, etc.) and is designed to support
automated reconfiguration of both PC Cards and the
system. Users can update or select both PC Card and
system configuration parameters as needed.
Feature Summary
