A quick presentation on Virus History by Daniel White at Project Cyber Virus, held on May 5th, 2015 at Swissnex San Francisco.
In 2004, Daniel White’s computer was infected with the Sasser worm, a fast-spreading autonomous worm that made millions of computers around the world reboot continuously. Fascinated by the concept of malware, he spent the following years learning everything he could about the subject, from general malware news to specific details of every virus, becoming a self-taught expert in 20th century malware.
In 2008, he began recording and uploading videos of older computer viruses and worms in action on the danooct1 YouTube channel. Since then, his videos have accrued over 13 million views and still reach hundreds of thousands of viewers per month. He has been a YouTube partner—an elite group of YouTubers—for over five years. White is now a graduate student in Geospatial Information Sciences at University of Texas in Dallas.

I have watched Dan for as long as I knew he existed. I have decided to try to create a clean-but-powerful series based on his channel. #remembertheoriginalmemzvictim

Subject: Daniel White's Presentation
Daniel White is a user on Youtube that uploads videos describing and reviewing malware from the 1980s to the early 2000s. Like many others, Daniel has inspired me to study such things as it is a very interesting and helpful topic to learn. Daniel White is a real jig that will always be credited as an influence to a whole generation of cyber security analysts.

Hopefully he would do another presentation or go to some youtube conventions and I can meet him! Awesome presentation Dan, I love you and your channel keep up the great work! Thank you for inspiring me to go into CyberSecurity; I love Malware!
