Marin County’s last mass vaccination point of distribution (POD) was closing Thursday, June 17, 2021, after a successful run that started in late February 2021. Marin County Public Health partnered with the Golden Gate Bridge, Highway, and Transportation District, Curative, local fire agencies, and other contributors to operate the temporary facility in the terminal’s parking lot off Sir Francis Drake Boulevard.
Public Health estimated that nearly 60,000 doses were delivered at the drive-through location over almost fourth months of operation. This video serves as a thank-you to everyone who helped run the facility and those who chose to get vaccinated there.
