all four democratic votes, while john kasich beat donald trump three-to-two. in hart's location, kasich won with five votes. sanders won the democratic side. in millsfield, ted cruz won the republican ballot, with nine votes. clinton won that contest for democrats, receiving two votes to sander's one. while these three towns don't count for many votes, they're ahead in the only results that have been tallied in the state's crucial primary ... at least until tuesday night, when the rest of the state's results are in. and tuesday february 23rd at at 5:30pm for republicans. for those of you wondering what it means --- its basically a gathering of neighbors who get together to discuss politics and elect delegates to move on to the county convention then the state, then eventually the national convention where a nominee is selected. the nevada caucus is run by our state's political parties and in the simplist of terms.. is a vote. we're one of 13 states that do it this way -- and though it can be a challenging and lengthy process, it is a chance to stand up and have your voice heard. to find your caucus location --- all you need to visit your party's website and make sure you're registered. now, democrats you can either pre-register online or register on site, the day of the caucus.. that is not the case though with republicans. the deadline for you to register is this saturday. . absentee voting is also available for disabled veterans and active duty military, plus their dependents serving outside of the country. coming up in the next half hour..

internet outrage... but the school district says it's just a misunderstanding. this photo was taken at clifford findlay middle school in north las vegas last week. you can see the tables folded up while two students eat near the trash cans. one of those students in the picture, eighth- grader chris yannatone says several girls threatened to call their parents. "i dont know what happened exactly before that all i know is that i went in the cafeteria to get breakfast before school and folded up and everyone was sitting on the floor." "we're not aloud to go into the quad for lunch or breakfast." we reached out to c-c-s-d. the school district says students were not forced to sit on the ground. c-c-s-d says there were tables set up and the outside quad area was also available. school breakfast is "grab and go" style so students can take it wherever they want. i'm guessing there won't be a lot of work getting done in denver today... for good reason... that city is celebrating their broncos. more than a million people are expected to attend a parade

listed on our maps back to the news desk the push to protect solar customers in nevada continues. this was the scene outside the "public utilties commission" building yesterday. "they take our jobs, lets take theres in november (screams and cheers)" nevada regulators listened to arguments about whether existing rooftop solar customers should be "grandfathered" into lower rates. the p-u-c approved higher rates before the new year. during the meeting... several wheelbarrows, filled with tens of thousand of petitions were wheeled in requesting the p- u-c overturn its decision. basketball team now. it's been tough on me and my family this man is looking for work to help support his family... but they have to rely only on his wife's income... because a sex offender stole his identity. eric james morgan- started using eric alan morgan's name as an alias... he didn't even realize it had happened until a cop pulled him over for speeding in 2012... and acted like he was a criminal at first... eric morgan/victim of identity theft he asked me do you know you're a sex offender. i said no that is not the case. i just got out of the military. eventually the officer was able to find major differences in looks and stature- he sent morgan on his way with a warning... that's when morgan started to dig in the sex offender database. eric morgan/victim of identity theft i immediately went in there and took a look. sure enough when i punched in my name first and middle name this gentlement came up, eric james morgan, he believes the offender used his middle name- not fraud- but maybe to

fox5 local las vegas>> metro is encouraging drivers to have a valid i-d on them at all times, in case you are ever faced with a similar situation. now to a fox5 warning to our viewers. scammers are targeting people with a jury duty hoax. here's how it works. the scammer calls you and claims to be with the sheriff's office. they say there is a warrant out for the victim, for skipping jury duty. the scammer then gives the victim a fake name and badge number and tells them- they must pay a 25 hundred dollar bond. the district court says potential victims should thoroughly examine and verify any paperwork or e-mails that ask for money. and if it looks suspicious, say something. in national news... president obama is asking congress for almost 2 billion dollars to fight the zika virus. the obama administration wants 1.8 billion dollars for emergency response in the u.s.-- and overseas. the virus is transmitted by mosquitoes and is tied to birth abnormalities in newborns.
