this is fox5 news at 10. local. las vegas. this is fox5 news at 10. local. las vegas. filming in las vegas is leading to some road closures on the las vegas strip... i'm john huck. i'm christine maddela. the 5th installment of the bourne franchise is being shot in the valley, and parts of the boulevard are being closed over night for some of the major scenes fox5's miguel martinez-valle tells us why the headaches could be worth it i'm here on the las vegas strip where we're starting to see one lane closure-- from tropicana to flamingo. as you can see- there's some police out here... and people from the department of transportation- they're trying to make sure things run smoothly. while the bourne movie films. car chases, swat cars, and lots of

5th bourne movie in las vegas has people talking, and while most are excited, not everyones enjoying what comes with the camera crews... parts of las vegas boulevard will be closed for filming for much of the week... metro announced tuesday nights road closure lasts 11 hours, the strip will be closed from flamingo to tropicana until 7 a.m. still, the nevada film office, who's job it is to get las vegas on the silver screen thinks the traffic and the headaches are well worth it... creates economic development for local vendors local businesses, and it creates exposure on the big and the small screen." filming for the bourne movie even revived the riviera, at least for little. while las vegas is used to being in the spotlight for big movies like rainman and the hangover, even more filming has been happening in the last few

finding missing teens... in fact organizers just signed a three year contract with metro they tell me the longer a teen is missing.. like isabella... the more worried they become about sex trafficking. gaspar- if shes looking at this she sees that were worried about her azusena gaspar says her 15 year old daughter disappeared without a trace. gaspar- thats my main conern is somethign might've happenned to her out there the last time gaspar saw her daughter was near their apartment complex in east las vegas november 16th... gaspar- i dont sleep well i spend my time thinking about how i can find her isabella also ran away in 2013 when her family lived in california. that time she was gone for about a month... this time her mother says it's been too long and she fears the worst. isabella's younger brother says it's hard to watch his mom hurting. devlin gonzalez- its sad and whenever she cries i feel like crying too red rock search and rescue assists

teens like isabella gonzalez. they say usually metro waits 24-48 hours before searching for runaways. red rock says a lot of runaways get involved in sex trafficking. bryan zink red rock search and rescue - runaways in the town that we live in its important they are found very quickly becuase we have a lot of unsavory people that like to pray on the youth gaspar says she spends every free minute she can calling people who may know where her daughter is... and combing the internet for clues. she's even hired a private investigator to search in california. despite all her efforts gaspar says she keeps hitting dead ends. azusena gaspar- i think my concern is that she might end up with the wrong people gaspar- i just want her to go somewhere she can get help each day that passes gaspar says it's more difficult to hold onto hope... gaspar - i love my daughter very much i love all my children theyre the most important thing in my life the last time isabella took off... one of her friends ended up dead... isabellas mom tells me every day

worried. reporting live cyndi lundeberg las vegas. las vegas police are calling isabella gonzalez an endangered runaway. if you have any information... or think you may have seen isabella gonzalez... you are asked to call las vegas metro police. a clark county school bus caught fire early this morning... and viewer caught it on camera. this video was sent into fox5 report-it by dina.... this morning -- just after 7:30-- a trash truck noticed flames underneath the bus.... near fourt apache and blue diamond. and alerted the driver. no students were on the bus at the time. on december 20th, a driver plowed over crowds of pedestrians on las vegas boulevard in front of the paris hotel. the deadly crash made national headlines and shut down the las vegas strip. tonight for the first time, we're hearing from the first responders who were there minutes after it happened. emergency

helped dozens of people hurt on the strip when a car jumped the sidewalk and plowed through the crowds. in the minutes following the crash, those first responders didn't know exactly what happened, but did know something had to be done. "it seemed like a typical night, a typical response, when we got on scene we got those notes almost simoutainously that this could have been a shooting. our crew knows we have to get to work and that's really what we're there to do and immeidatly they jumped into action and began taking care of business." "you never are prepared to see what we saw, however we do train on a daily basis and that's really what we're there to do to make sure we're ready at a moment's notice." "i am very very proud of the men and women of the clark county fire department, and the police department tuesday the clark county commission honored those firefighters, police officers, and university medical center staff who treated the nearly forty people hurt in the crash... "there was a bit of chaos there, we had a lot of people waving us in, security was already trying to take care of people already injured, but reports just continously rolled in about what possible injuries there were and not only that but it was spread over about a quarter mile so there was some length between those people as well." we do trauma 24 hours a day 7 days a week, christmas, new years, holidays, it doesn't matter, we're there." lakeisha holloway is accused of intentionally causing that crash. she's charged with murder, child endangerment, and felony hit and run. holloway is due back in court tomorrow. a new company is now offering emergency and non-emergency services in clark county.... thousands of exhibitors showcase the latest in firearm innovation here in las vegas. "the show is strong for us. walther is upcoming brand. been around but people forgot about it. especially now with new movies coming out the resurgence and now fact we have no products people looking for walther. the "shooting hunting and outdoor trade show" -- or "shot show" happens at the sands expo and convention center this week. organizers say it's one of the largest gun trade shows in the world. it attracts more than 65-thousand gun industry professionals. the exhibit runs through friday. it is closed to the public. hundreds around the valley will have the chance to take a ride on the same track as nascar drivers. it's part of the "laps for charity" at the las vegas motor speedway. the media was invited out to see what kind of vehicles you can drive on the racetrack. there will be classic cars... ambulances... and food trucks driving under the

if you have information on where isabella may be youre asked to contact metro police. red rock search and rescue tells fox 5 the more time a runaway is missing the more concerned they become about sex trafficking. the city of las vegas is offering a new ordinace... to help keep the local solar power industry alive. the move follows a recent decision from nevada's public utilities commission... to cut subsidies for solar customers in the state. fox 5's ophelia young explains what the new ordinance means. "what are we trying to tell the world? that we dont care about solar? mayor pro tem steve ross called the puc's decision to raise rates for our rooftop solar customers - poor. "we were just beginning to make tremendous progress developing our clean energy economy when the public utilities commission stopped us dead in our tracks." literally - solar installers pulled off roofs - and asked to help pack up their centers. solar city says they laid off 5 hundred and 50 employees. smaller businesses like today's energy store dropped a couple workers

"one in the last month." the city of las vegas announced they're working on theyre working on a new ordinance to help future rooftop solar customers. marc explains its basically financing - the city plans to get a bond from which interested homeowners can borrow from. the loan will be added to the house - and they will pay loan back in property taxes - an extra 8 hundred dollars a year for 20 years. marc says this doesnt necessarily save customers money - so long as the pucs vote stays in place...
