officers were called out to the scene near lake mead and decatur around 9 last night. they say the shooter was last seen driving a white suv. even though the victim was shot twice, they are expected to survive. metro is also on the hunt for a murder suspect, who opened fire on a car-- killing a woman and injuring another person. this happened around 1 yesterday morning near decatur and hayes. officers say the suspect pulled up to the intersection and opened fire multiple times. they think the victims and suspect knew each other. a pahrump mom and her daughter's boyfriend are waking up behind bars this morning.. the sheriff's office says the man shot athis own girlfriend-- now they think her mother may have had something to do with

with what neighbors are saying. people living here - are living in fear. people are moving in - starting fires - and it's putting peoples lives in danger. familes are living in some of the apartments... ....but just a few feet away - there are squatters. they come in, start fires to cook with - or stay warm - but those are quickly spreading. earlier this year - this exact same thing happened. police say squatters started a fire and then took off... ....but once the fire was put out - they came right back. a rookie police officer in virgina is shot and killed her first day on the job. two other officers were injured. today, her suspected killer is due in court. investigators believe the gunman was an army staff sergeant assigned to the pentagon. they say it started saturday, when the officers were call. as soon as they walked towards opened fire. sot zach harris: "i saw the officer lying on the ground, shot in the leg." the suspect's wife was found dead inside the home. his 11 year old son was inside too, but he was not hurt. he's facing two murder charges, and prosecutors are planning to push for the death penalty. an entire neighborhood on edge this morning after being forced out of their homes for hours sunday afternoon. neighbors say a man refused to come out of his home near
