it was overcast for a while but things have improved. with our temperature of 62 with a south, southeast wind at about 9 mph here in cedar rapids. starting to see fall colors on the trees around the area. not anything showing up on the radar. nice and dry around eastern iowa and it is expected to stay that way for the rest of tonight's and know whether issues there. we do have these clouds we talked about in this is essentially warmer air moving back into the cooler that we experienced the past couple o has generated a couple of clouds but no rainfall showing up and that should be the case tonight in most of tomorrow but late tomorrow afternoon or evening there will be a quick moving disturbance that could kick off a shower thunderstorm but they do look to be few and far between. we will have some of the clouds around on a scattered basis during the evening hours but a nice night for high school football especially for this time of year. the kickoff temperature should be about 60 degrees. winds out of the south at around 10 to 15 mph.

readings out there are back into the low 60s just a couple of degrees cooler than the highs. looks like we will get back into the mid-to upper 50s for low temperatures and hold there and that is a pretty mouth night for this time of year. we should be back in the upper 30s to 40s on a typical basis procures tomorrow's breakout. we start the day around 57 and we will have clouds coming in and out of the area but we will makes a little bit of sunshine. we should get up to about 70 or 72 in the day or tomorrow evening when we could see scattered showers and storms. most of the day tomorrow looks to be in the dry side. as we go to the satellite tonight you can see a big arc of clouds that extends from san francisco all the way up toward parts of canada. that is where our jet stream is located. a big trough is gouging out the western united states and meta- starting to pump up a region in the central us and that will keep the southwesterly winds blowing and bring those

the next several days and it is monday the looks to be the warmest that is only could see and 80 degree high temperature. here's the big -- breakdown in temperature. tomorrow, 66. that is a little bit underdone. if we get the sunshine i'm expecting we should be close to 70. the disturbance we talked about comes to tomorrow is a chance for showers and storms. it is gone by sunday and then the warm air gets established and we should be back into the mid-70s on sunday and then monday we will push for the 80 as far as to my goes, skies will be mostly cloudy overall, looks like low temperatures should be around 54 degrees to 57 degrees and south winds at 10 to 15. tomorrow a variable cloudiness which means a mix of sunning clouds with a chance for a shower or storm late in the day but again few and far between and generally light.
