sat in his squad car.hartnett was able to fire back at the suspect, who was arrested several blocks away.now, sources tell cbs news, the suspect admitted to opening fire in the name of islam. right now - hartnett is in a hospital and is expected to recover.there's no word on the condition of the suspect. two men are in federal custody, accused of having ties to terrorist groups. groups.one suspect was arrested in california, and is beleived to have fought for isis in syria before returning to the u.s. last january.the other suspect was aprehended in texas, and is accused of providing support to isis.both men are iraqi refugees, and allegedly communicated with each other over social media. federal officials do not believe the men were plotting an attack on u.s. soil.in addition to terror charges, they're also charged with lying to the government. president obama continues to pitch his executive actions on gun control. control.he defended his orders
