the greater des moines partnership is sprucing up the city's skywalk system ahead of the caucuses. seven local photographers were selected by the partnership to display their work throughout the skywalk. the photos depict the des moines skyline and its natural beauty... the partnership calls it a small gesture to enhance the experience for out-of-towners. the photos will remain after the caucuses end. fortunately.. it looks like the weather will cooperate on caucus night.. and the days in between will give a little taste of spring.. meteorologist brett mcintyre has details.. brett.. a nice, mild day out there today. we'll see a mix of sun and clouds over the next several days. the winds will shift toward the south for

casey stegall is in fort worth, texas where couch is being held. officially deported from mexico... authorities put so-called "affluenza teen" - ethan couch - on a commercial plane early thursday... by afternoon he was being escorted through dallas-fort worth international airport by u.s. marshals. from there it was on to the juvenile detention facility in fort worth...where couch is now being held. anderson says: 13:07:48 "i saw him inside. he was very calm. very quiet. very passive." "his only request was he was hungry and needed something to eat." the 18-year-old is set to appear hearing on friday... when a judge will consider whether he should stay in juvenile lock up...be moved to adult jail...or be let out on house arrest with an electronic ankle monitor. anderson says: "i'd prefer to have him in an adult jail." all of this, after couch and his mother are accused of fleeing the country...as texas prosecutors investigated whether ethan violated terms of his 10-year probation sentence. couch was on probation after a he killed four people. ethan couch never did jail time for that

said his affluent upbringing prevented him from knowing right or wrong...or he was suffering from a case of "affluenza". on december twenty-eighth couch and his mother were apprehended in puerto vallarta, mexico. she was quickly deported and is now facing texas charges. anderson says: 13:04:22 "we hope that finally now justice can be served for those 4 victims and their families" ethan couch has another court date set for february 19th... where a judge will consider moving his case out of the juvenile system...into adult court, where penalties are much stricter. in fort worth, texas, casey stegall, fox news. ethan's defense attorneys released a statement thursday night ,...saying in part: "ethan voluntarily returned to the u.s."... and - quote - "we are optimistic that, going forward, ethan will comply with all court-imposed terms and conditions."

helped the three missing inmates in southern california escape. police in orange county arresting forty-four year old nooshafarian ravaghi in santa ana earlier today... ravaghi allegedly provided google maps of the area around the prison to the men, which would have likely helped in their escape. it is still unclear if ravaghi provided the men with any tools. investigators believe they are getting closer to finding the inmates, who have been missing since friday. officials say the trio may still be together in the southern california area. the u-n now says the zika virus is "spreading explosively"... and is becoming much more of a threat than had been anticipated... it's already spread to more than 20 countries - including at least five confirmed cases in new york. laura ingle has more from new york. the zika virus is spreading explosively and time is running out to contain it... that's the word from the world health organization... warning on thursday that the virus has already spread to more
