May 12, 2015, Dayton, Ohio – The Dayton Fire Department received a donation of 12 sets of oxygen masks designed especially for animals. The masks were donated by Invisible Fence. Each of the Department's 12 fire stations will have a set containing oxygen masks in three sizes. Tens of thousands of pets die in fires across the country yearly. The Dayton Fire Department is taking advantage of Invisible Fence's Project Breathe in order to reduce the number of pets lost in local fires. In March of 2015, Dayton firefighters removed six injured dogs from two fires in a 24-hour period.
