Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) and Former Labor Secretary Robert Reich discussed anti-trust laws and breaking up tech and pharmaceutical monopolies in a discussion hosted by the Center for American Progress Action Fund CEO Neera Tanden. The conversation served as a preview to a hearing later that day where Mr. Reich would testify on the same topic before the Senate Judiciary subcommittee on which Sen. Klobuchar serves as ranking member. Ms. Klobuchar is running for president in 2020 and told the audience that anti-trust law and competition policy should be a central issue of the election.
