A subject never discussed on the traditional mass media is the focus of this Alternative Views program. The program specifies the top political and economic organizations (groups such as the Trilateral Commission, the Bilderberg Group, and the Council on Foreign Relations, which are the key organizations which determine U.S. policy and which provide the top decision makers--regardless of whether there is a Democratic or Republican administration. The economic aspect of the American power structure is shown through a discussion of economic concentration, especially through stock ownership and interlocking directorates, particularly those of the Rockefeller empire. The interlocking relationships are also revealed among the leading economic institutions, the top political organizations and the elite universities, foundations, think tanks, and the Establishment mass media corporations. Finally, the program looks at the distribution of wealth and income in the U.S., showing that the most power people in the country also receive a highly disproportionate share of the economic benefits.
