the argument of youth....
The argument of youth is often incomplete and lacking facts. Comparing a legal agreement established after the birth of a nation for all people to abide by does not in the least compare to Biblical texts although many believe our Constitution was inspired by scripture. Our Constitution is a social contract that was ratified by our ancestors as the law of the land. The speaker is claiming they are both the same but he misses the fact one is not up for debate, in fact one warns of a curse to anyone who would change any of it, where the other can be modified, and often has over the last 240 years using the same process, a representative government to debate and craft changes to better serve the people. This is the ultimate apples versus oranges...one is constrained to your personal life, the other is limited to the laws of society. there are no laws forcing you to believe in Christianity, Nor do I know of any laws requiring you to accept the Constitution.....you always have the option of living in any of the 194 optional countries or moving to some small atoll or micro island that has no government. I would point out being an atheist is one thing, but being an anarchist in the greatest experiment in democracy is insane.
