This is an audio recording I had converted from the album when the fil played in Cinemarama theaters back in 1961 The first night of showing, every family get a program movie book of the making of the film and a record of the story of the Brothers Grimm with some of the stories from the film. The narration was done by character Charles Ruggles.

The concept was good but the casting was not. All were sent home except Mr. Ed who remained in his strall. The casting of the "voice: of Mr. Ed was "Rocky Lane, a 1940's singing cwboy from Republic studios who took up residence at the creator's home on the sofa". said Alan Young in an interview. Alan Young, actor from the show Mr. Ed, stars in an unaired pilot for CBS called Mr. Terriffic. Young plaus a weakling that takes a super pill that turns him into a superhero. Edward Andrews plays his boss. The series was developed by Edward Montagne who conceived the show, McHale's Navy. Because of a general dislike for the character he protrayed and a disdain for the pilot, Mr Young bowed out of the pilot and the show was revamped using an entirely new cast and concept.

The series was conceived by Edward Montagne, creator of McHale's Navy. This pilot was a test pilot for Universal to see the concept. Only Beverley Owens(Maralyn) Fred Qwynne(Herman) and Al Lewis(Grandpa) remained. The others were let go and sent packing; especially the kid playing Eddie whose charming name was Happy (Germain). Anything but happy is this monster. Since this unaired and a test pilot-concept, it should be PD. If not, please remove it.

A eight minute episode of BatMan to introduce Bat Girl. The ratings at this were low and Yvonne Craig as Bat Girl was there to boost the ratings. This "episode" was shown to the "suits" of 20th century fox and never aired. I figure it's PD.
