The Rareware Banana normally disappears when you get close to it to prevent you from getting it early (without 20 fairies), even if you clip the door. This method allows you to nab it anyways, and doesn't use ISG like the other method so it is good for 101%. This requires dropping at a very specific height - it is a lot harder than it looks.
