Here’s what’s ahead for the March 2nd, electronic Salisbury City Council Meeting… Council will consider: •"tAdoption of a resolution supporting a grant application for Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality (CMAQ) funds for a sidewalk and pedestrian crossings on Jake Alexander Boulevard. •"tAdoption of the Main Street Striping Plan and Main Street Master Plan to include a public hearing. Comments regarding the proposed plan will be accepted after the close of the public hearing. Action will not be taken until the March 16th Council meeting. •"tThe second reading of an ordinance establishing a six-month moratorium on the consideration and approval of Historic Landmarks. •"tAppoinntments to various boards and commissions. •"tAdoption of an ordinance establishing a Non-Discrimination Policy. •"tAnd receive the City’s second quarter financial report The meeting starts at 6 pm. Written comments received by March 2nd at 5 p.m. will be shared with City Council but not read out loud during the meeting. All City Council meetings will be held electronically until further notice to remain consistent with limiting physical interactions and the potential spread of COVID-19.
