On October 30 and 31, 2014, more than 200 elected officials, developers, business owners and citizens gathered at St. Petersburg College Seminole Campus to evaluate where Pinellas County stands as a local economy, nearly 10 years after Pinellas by Design was approved. Participants learned about redevelopment successes and challenges faced by the Pinellas community and explored ways to collaborate for a robust future.
Pinellas County Commission Chair Karen Williams Seel starts off the Symposium with a welcome and shares goals and initiatives for the next two days. St. Petersburg College Seminole Campus Provost Dr. James Olliver shares information about St. Petersburg College Seminole Campus programs, including the college’s co-host organization of the Symposium, Institute for Strategic Policy Solutions.
